Just Staged by RE:STYLE
This house has lots of potential, even though it hasn't been updated. Fortunately, after a year on the market, the homeowners decided to take advantage of my Inventory Reduction Sale (2 months for the price of of 1!) and stage the house. We have already received positive comments from Realtors who had shown the house before the staging, so let's hope it moves quickly!
For less than one month's mortgage payment (not to mention all the carrying costs), we got this house staged to sell!

Good information. I liked the statement......For less than one month's mortgage payment (not to mention all the carrying costs), we got this house staged to sell.
Thanks
You did a wonderful job. I have a question ..why didnt you remove the wallpaper in the bathroom. Its the only eye sore
Durham:
Feel free to use it to help your business!
Fernando;
Well, I agree, but we weren't being paid to remove it, so we made the best of it. Actually, I think the staging helped the wallpaper to look more current. But I'm not a fan of any wallpaper. However, I am a fan of making a profit! You can lead a horse to water...
What a great idea to have a Staging reduction sale. Money's tight all around, and I'm sure that will entice some who are uncertain about going ahead with staging to take advantage of your sale. Let me know if business increases, as I'm anxious to try it myself.
You did a wonderful job. I love the furniutre in the living room. I'm sure they were very happy.
Kathi,
That is great marketing in action! The house looks wonderful - even the bathroom with the wallpaper! You brought in color and texture which helped to move the focus off the walls.
Well done! Thank you for posting your success story to this group.

Donna:
Yes, well I got at least one job from this idea. I will probably send out another email blast and see if I can get more work.
Chrissie;
Thanks! It's a lot more modern than than the home itself, so I thought it might defuse the "dated" look...
Val:
Whew! When I saw your email about correct posting, i quickly checked to make sure I wasn't violating the rules. Good to hear you like the post!
I've always been impressed at how you can do a few small things, but have such a big impression and impact!
Looks great, Kathi. I especially like the punches of red in your accent pillows.
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group; staging Before & After Pictures.

Ronald:
Well, it's really a LOT of small and big things :>)--in fact, in this case, the neighbors thought we were moving in!
Kathy:
Thanks so much! You made my day!
Kathi,
Looks great! I love your 2 for 1 sale incentive idea. Hopefully you will have a quick sale and prove once again that there is power in professional home staging! Continued success!
Amazing how a few small things can make such significant changes! Well done!
Michelle:
House just went up on the MLS, so here's hoping! Thanks!
Susan:
See response to Ron, above ;>) As a stager, you know the small details make the difference, but staging a vacant is a big job--one that I love!
That floral wallpaper was tough but you staged around it. Red attracts the eye.
Kathleen:
Thanks! We had fun!
It looks really nice. I agree about the wallpaper, it's not the nicest, but that's what we stagers do. We work with what we're given and make the best of any situation. Keep up the good work!
